Greenhouse Gas Emissions are the main cause of climate change and threaten our air quality, ecosystems and way of life. About half of the GHGs created by Canadians come from their personal vehicles. With one bus replacing 40 cars, public transit creates 65 percent fewer Green House Gas emissions than the same travel by automobile.

Saint John Transit brings its message of commitment to our environment to the city’s streets with Hug-a-Buses. Committed to conservation, Saint John Transit’s goal is to replace older buses with new buses that are low emission and energy efficient.
